Week 2

In a battle of Week 1 unbeatens, Freshman Fantasies #19 had Ottoman's Empire up against the walls.

Wesley Walls, that is.

Ottoman's Empire watched slacked-jawed as tight end Walls, of the Carolina Panthers, racked up an unlikely 14 points with 2 TDs as FF#19 soundly trounced the Turks 55-29.

FF19 remained in a tie for first as Hungover Lame-Os defeated Los Federales. LF could have used some "steenkin' badges" against the Lame-Os as they could not overcome a poor performance by Brett Favre. The Lame-Os benefitted greatly by a 17-point performance by Dallas' "Dammit" Emmitt Smith.

Thanks to Peyton Manning's 12 points and the Tampa bay Defense/Special Teams' amazing 21 points, Bozo Bruisers avoided the cellar. With the help of 9 sacks, Bozo Bruisers got one in the win column. Hammertime could not survive a -6-point performance by Jake Plummer, who threw 4 INTs.

Jolene's Arran Boys squuuuueeeeaaked one past Larry Losers, 61-59. In the highest scoring game of the week, Larry's Losers could not parlay big games from Houston's, I mean Tennessee's Eddie George and New England's Ben Coates. Meanwhile, JAB used a mammoth game from Indy's Marvin Harrison , who scored 23 points with 3 TDs.

Good Luck to all. - Go Browns! Beat those Ratbirds! -
