Week 4

In a game against the two winless teams, something had to give. Led by new acqusitions Kurt Warner and Brett Conway, and new starters Curtis Conway and Tim Biakabutuka, Hammertime defeated Los Federales with the force of Thor's preferred implement, 87-44.

Biakabutuka quieted critics who dismissed the former University of Michigan grad's big week in Week 3 as a fluke by having another great game in Week 4. He racked up 25 points, an OFFL season high. Hammertime also set a league season high by scoring a total of 87 points.

Hungover Lame-Os continue to live a charmed life. The Lame Ones have the 3rd lowest total of points scored but have gotten a lot of help from thier opponents thus far. Lame-Os' opponents have only put up a total of 160 points, lowest in the league. Bozo Bruisers were the helpers this week as they were not able to break the 30-point barrier as Hungover Lame-Os were victorious, 45-29.

Larry's Losers are on the opposite end of the above story. The Losers have scored a few more points than the Lame-Os but have been squeezed in two of their three losses by only two points. There probably is little consolation that this week the Losers got beat by a more than a couple of points as Ottoman's Empire defeated them, 76-58.

The Empire's "Washington Connection" did it again. This time it was Brad Johnson and Michael Westbrook who did a number on the Losers. They combined for over half of the points scored by Ottoman's Empire in Week 4, with Johnson throwing for 337 yards and 4 TD passes and Westbrook on the receiving end of two of those tosses and 140 yards for a total of 22 and 19 points, respectively.
